About Temple

The temple is situated in the land of Lord Sree Poornathrayeesa with the famous name Triveda puri in Kanayannur Taluk of Tripunithura municipality in Ernakulam district. The temple is located on Tripunithura mini bypass nearly 1 kilometer to the right of the Sree Poornathrayeesa temple and very near to the north side of Kannankulangara Sree Mahadeva Temple’ s pond. Sree Bala Vinayaka temple is seen as facing towards west.

Those who are coming by train can reach the temple by taking a bus to Tripunithura New Bus stand from the Tripunithura Railway station and from there Rs. 20/- as Auto rickshaw charges. For those who are coming by walk from the southern side of Bus stand can reach by 15 minutes of walk.

Those who are coming from Ernakulam town in bus can take buses going to Kottayam/Vaikom/Poothotta side, can get down at Kannankulangara junction which is around 10 km from Ernakulam town. They can walk through Mini bypass, can see the Pond, Sree Mahadeva Temple, Oottupura Hall and the above Bala Vinayaka temple approximately after 100 meter .

The existence of this temple is only because of the continuous and unselfish efforts of the Kannankulangara residents, so this should be seen as a villager’s temple.

The construction of the temple can be very well justified. The full Sreekovil and apart from that upto the roof it is made up of stone and cement.

ശ്രീ ബാലവിനായക ക്ഷേത്രം, തൃപ്പൂണിത്തുറ

എറണാകുളം ജില്ലയിലെ തൃപ്പൂണിത്തുറ മുനിസിപ്പാലിറ്റിയിൽ കണയന്നൂർ താലൂക്കിൽ ത്രിവേദ പുരി എന്ന പ്രസിദ്ധമായ നാമത്തിൽ ശ്രീപൂർണ്ണത്രയീശ ഭഗവാന്റെ ഭൂമിയിലാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. തൃപ്പൂണിത്തുറ മിനി ബൈപാസിൽ ശ്രീ പൂർണത്രയീശ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന് വലത് വശത്തായി ഒരു കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെ കണ്ണൻകുളങ്ങര ശ്രീ മഹാദേവ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ കുളത്തിന് വടക്ക് വശത്തായാണ് ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. ശ്രീ ബാല വിനായക ക്ഷേത്രം പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ട് ദർശനമായാണ് കാണപ്പെടുന്നത്. ട്രെയിനിൽ വരുന്നവർക്ക് തൃപ്പൂണിത്തുറ റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ നിന്ന് തൃപ്പൂണിത്തുറ പുതിയ ബസ് സ്റ്റാൻഡിലേക്ക് ബസിൽ കയറി ബസ് സ്റ്റാൻഡിന്റെ തെക്ക് ഭാഗത്ത് നിന്ന് കാൽനടയായി വരുന്നവർക്ക് 15 മിനിറ്റ് നടന്നാൽ എത്തിച്ചേരാം. എറണാകുളം ടൗണിൽ നിന്ന് ബസ്സിൽ വരുന്നവർക്ക് കോട്ടയം/വൈക്കം/പൂത്തോട്ട ഭാഗത്തേക്ക് പോകുന്ന ബസുകളിൽ എറണാകുളം ടൗണിൽ നിന്ന് 10 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെയുള്ള കണ്ണൻകുളങ്ങര ജംഗ്ഷനിൽ ഇറങ്ങാം. അവർക്ക് മിനി ബൈപാസിലൂടെ നടന്ന് ഏകദേശം 100 മീറ്റർ കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ കുളം, ശ്രീ മഹാദേവ ക്ഷേത്രം, ഊട്ടുപുര ഹാൾ, മുകളിലെ ബാല വിനായക ക്ഷേത്രം എന്നിവ കാണാം. കണ്ണൻകുളങ്ങര നിവാസികളുടെ നിരന്തരവും നിസ്വാർത്ഥവുമായ പ്രയത്‌നത്താൽ മാത്രമാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം നിലനിൽക്കുന്നത്, അതിനാൽ ഇതൊരു ഗ്രാമവാസിയുടെ ക്ഷേത്രമായി കാണണം. ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ നിർമ്മാണം വളരെ നന്നായി ന്യായീകരിക്കാവുന്നതാണ്. മുഴുവൻ ശ്രീകോവിലും അതിനുപുറമേ മേൽക്കൂര വരെ കല്ലും സിമന്റും കൊണ്ടാണ് നിർമ്മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
