The temple situated at Thiruvaniyoor in Ernakulam district. Lord Subrahmanya is the main deity of this temple. Bala Subramanian resides in a circular shrine at the foot of a hill similar to Kailash. Apart from the festivals of Shashtivritham and Thaipuyam, the day of dedication is also celebrated here on the northern day of the lunar month. The serpent gods are demigods. Panchamritham is the favorite offering of Sri Bala Murugan who gives relief from all ailments.
