The temple situated at Puthuppally in Kottayam district. Vazhakulam Sri Ganapathy Subramanya Swamy Temple is one of the rare temples in Kerala where Ganapati and Subramanian are worshiped as the main deities in a shrine on a pedestal. Annual festival celebrated here in every year. Vinayaka Chaturthi , Thaippuyam , Vishu , Maha Shivaratri and Navaratri are also celebrated here. Naga Raja , Naga Yakshi , Shivan , Vishnu , Parvathy Devi and Aanamarutha are the sub deities of this temple.
കോട്ടയം ജില്ലയിലെ പുതുപ്പള്ളിയിലാണ് ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. ഗണപതിയെയും സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യനെയും ഒരു പീഠത്തിൽ പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠകളായി ആരാധിക്കുന്ന കേരളത്തിലെ അപൂർവ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിലൊന്നാണ് വാഴക്കുളം ശ്രീ ഗണപതി സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യ സ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രം. എല്ലാ വർഷവും ഇവിടെ വാർഷിക ഉത്സവം ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു. വിനായക ചതുർത്ഥി, തൈപ്പൂയം, വിഷു, മഹാ ശിവരാത്രി, നവരാത്രി എന്നിവയും ഇവിടെ ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു. നാഗരാജാവ്, നാഗ യക്ഷി, ശിവൻ, വിഷ്ണു, പാർവ്വതി ദേവി, ആനമറുത എന്നിവരാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ ഉപദേവതകൾ.
