Udayanapuram Chathankudi Devi Temple is an important temple located in Vaikom Taluk, Kottayam District. This temple is located near the Udayanapuram Sri Subramanyaswamy Temple among the Vaikom Udayanapuram temples. The temple is an important place of worship for devotees and devotees of the Goddess. The temple also houses the sanctum sanctorum of Lord Bhadrakali and Goddess Durga. Chathan Swamy resides in the north-eastern part of the temple along with the deities Sri Mahaganapati, Kirathamoorthy, Sridharmasastha and Yakshiamma. Devotees from far and wide come to the temple to pay their respects to Chathanswamy, who is on offer at the invitation. Chathan Swamy has poojas for only three days like Meda Sankram, Karkitaka Sankram and Makara Sankram. Many devotees from all over the country visit this temple to worship and visit.
