Srimangalam Sri Durgabhairavi Vishnu Temple is a centuries-old shrine located in Nedumkadu, between Killiyar and Karamanayar in Thiruvananthapuram district.
The eldest daughter-in-law of the family has the authority to start the festival at the temple.The festival begins at the shrine during the month of Kumbh in the year.
The festival is celebrated at the temple from Bharani to Makam in the month of Kumbh. Then Navratri is celebrated as a festival. The presence of the Sapta Rishis during the Brahmamuhurta on the full moon day is still amazing.
Srimangalam Devasthanam is a temple dedicated to Lord Karinagamoorthy, Lord Karinagayakshi and the Golden Serpent.
Special poojas are performed in the temple for the prevention of severe snake curses, snake bites, Rahuketu dosha remedies and bull snake bites.
The only temple in Kerala dedicated to Navagraha heroine Sri Durgabhagavathi (Parvathi Devi) is dedicated to Goddess Mahakali, Sree Vishnumaya kuttichathan Swami , Aayaniyudu Thamburan , Karinkutty Chathan and Parivaras , Issakkhi Amman and Aneeyilakadavu Amma.
