The temple situated at Andhiyoor , Neyyattinkara , Balaramapuram in Thiruvananthapuram district. During the royal reign there was a temple and Brahmin families at a place called Ilangam. Later, the temple was abandoned and the Brahmin families left the place. Locals had lit lamps for the deities located at the place called Anthiyur Elangam. Medayil Velayudhapanikar, the owner of the property where the lamp was lit, sold the property to another person and the person who bought the property cut the palamaram pana which was located there and avoided the place where the lamp was placed. Then, with the cooperation of the locals in Thachamvilakatu, the lamp was lit by the side of the road. In order to know the spirit of the lamp burning on the roadside, a deity problem was raised under the leadership of the locals and it was seen that the temple should be built with Sree Parvathy devi , Bhadra as the main deity and Shiva, Ganapathi, Yogeeshwaran, Mandramoorthy and Brahmarakshas as sub-deities. Annual festival celebrated here in every year.
