Sree Chamundeshwari Devi Temple is one of the oldest temples in South Kerala, located in Anand, Nedumangad in Thiruvananthapuram district in Kerala. The most important offering in the temple is the Udhishtakaryasiddhi Pooja. It is the most auspicious ceremony for the devotees. This has been going on for eleven consecutive months. This Offering conducted in the second Sunday of every month. The devotees who attend the Uddhistakaryasiddhi Pooja will be able to achieve their Uddhikaryakasiddhi even before completing these eleven offerings.
The Thottil Aattu is another important offering in the temple. It is believed that a devout couple who are worried about not having children will be able to have children by Thottil Aattu in the temple.
അഷ്ടമംഗല ദേവപ്രശ്‌ന വിധി പ്രകാരം പൂർണമായും കൃഷ്ണ ശിലകളിൽ പുനരുദ്ധരിച്ച ദക്ഷിണ കേരളത്തിലെ അത്യപൂർവമായ ശ്രീ ചാമുണ്ഡേശ്വരി ദേവി ക്ഷേത്രം തിരുവനന്തപുരം ജില്ലയിലെ ആനാട്, നെടുമങ്ങാട് സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നു. ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട വഴിപാട് ഉധിഷ്ടകാര്യസിദ്ധി പൂജയാണ്. ഭക്തജനങ്ങളുടെ ഉധിഷ്ടകാര്യസിദ്ധിക്കു ഏറ്റവും പ്രാപ്തമായിട്ടുള്ള ചടങ്ങാണ്. തുടർച്ചയായ പതിനൊന്നു മാസങ്ങളിൽ ആയിട്ട് ആണ് ഇത് നടക്കുന്നത്. എല്ലാ മാസവും രണ്ടാമത്തെ ഞായറാഴ്ച്ച. ഉദ്ദിഷ്ടകാര്യസിദ്ധി പൂജയിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്ന ഭക്തജനങ്ങൾക്ക് അവരുടെ ഉദ്ദിഷ്ടകാര്യസിദ്ധി ഈ പതിനൊന്നു വഴിപാടുകൾ പൂർത്തീകരിക്കുന്നതിന് മുൻപ് തന്നെ പ്രാപ്തമാകുന്നതാണ്.
ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ മറ്റൊരു പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട വഴിപാട് ആണ് തൊട്ടിൽ വെയ്പ്. സന്താനങ്ങൾ ഇല്ലാതെ വിഷമിക്കുന്ന ഭക്ത ദമ്പതികൾക്ക് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ തൊട്ടിൽ വെയ്പ് നടത്തുന്നതിലൂടെ സന്താനലബ്‌ധി പ്രാപ്തമാകും എന്നാണ് വിശ്വാസം.
