About Temple

As the word of mouth goes, the Dharmadeiva kshethram at Easwaramangalam, Challiyil, came into being somewhere in the 16th century, alongwith a 'kalari' (martial art training center). This 'kalari' at 'Melthala' (presently known as 'Methala' in Kodungallur Taluk, Thrissur district) audemars piguet royal oak offshore alinghi replica was said to be one of the main warfare training centres (martial art) of the then princely state of Kodungallur). The land for the temple and the kalari was gifted taxfree by the then prince of Kodungallur. In the ancient days, the deities were said to be Bhadrakali and Khantakarnan. Subsequently, as the time passed by, under the leadership of a Sanskrit scholar, named Sankaran Asan, the temple was renovated and the deities were changed to Sreeparvathy, Murukan, Ganapathi, as the main deities. However, presently, panerai replica watches as can be seen, the deities being worshipped there are Sreeparvathy, Bhadrakali, Ayyappan, Murukan, Ganapathi, Hanuman Swamy, Karinagam, Maninagam, Gurumuthappan, khantakarnan, Veerabhadran, Bhairavan, Maruthamuthi. As the belief goes, if you go and worship, as a devout devotee, at this sacred place, all your wishes, such as removal of obstacles in getting married, having children, gaining success in job, health, wealth, prosperity or whatever you wish and pray would easily come your way.
