Sri Ramaswamy Temple is located in the Ramapuram Grama Panchayat in the Kottayam district of Kerala, India. The four great temples inhabited by the Vaishnava incarnations of Lord Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata and Shatrughna are known all over the world as Nalambalam.

Aratt is located in the Amanakara Bharatswamy Temple. കേരളത്തിലെ കോട്ടയം ജില്ലയിൽ രാമപുരം ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തിലാണ് ശ്രീരാമസ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. ശ്രീരാമൻ, ലക്ഷ്മണൻ, ഭരതൻ, ശത്രുഘ്നൻ എന്നിവരുടെ വൈഷ്ണവ അവതാരങ്ങൾ കുടികൊള്ളുന്ന നാല് മഹാക്ഷേത്രങ്ങൾ നാലമ്പലം എന്നാണ് ലോകമെമ്പാടും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. തൃപ്രയാർ, ഇരിങ്ങാലക്കുട, മൂഴിക്കുളം, പായമ്മല എന്നിവ പോലെ രാമപുരം, കുടപ്പുലം, മേതിരി എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ ശ്രീരാമൻ, ലക്ഷ്മണൻ, ഭരതൻ, ശത്രുഘ്നൻ എന്നിവരുടെ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളും സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഇന്ത്യയിൽ തന്നെ ഇത്തരം ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങൾ വിരളമാണ്. ഉച്ചപൂജയ്ക്ക് മുമ്പ് ഒരേ ദിവസം ഈ നാല് പുണ്യക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളും സന്ദർശിക്കുന്നത് സവിശേഷവും ഐശ്വര്യപ്രദവുമായ അവസരമാണ്. ഞായർ, വ്യാഴം ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ ഓരോ മാസവും പുണ്യമായി നാലാം ദർശനം നടത്തുന്നവരുടെ എണ്ണം കൂടിവരികയാണ്. കർക്കടകമാസം രാമായണ മാസമായി ആചരിക്കുന്നതോടെ ഭക്തജനപ്രവാഹമാണ്. സീതാദേവിയെ ഭൂമിദേവിയുടെ മടിയിൽ ഇരുത്തിയപ്പോൾ ശ്രീരാമൻ ദുഃഖിതനായി. തുടർന്ന് തീർഥാടനം നടന്നു. ആ യാത്രയിൽ പരമശിവൻ രാമപുരത്തെത്തി. മൂന്ന് സഹോദരന്മാരും ശ്രീരാമനെ തേടി ഇവിടെയെത്തി. ജ്യേഷ്ഠനൊപ്പം പോകണമെന്ന് സഹോദരന്മാർ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ ശ്രീരാമൻ സമ്മതിച്ചില്ല. രാമൻ വന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ ഞങ്ങളും ഇവിടെ ഇരിക്കുമെന്നും അവർ അടുത്തുള്ള മൂന്നിടങ്ങളിൽ തങ്ങുമെന്നും ഐതിഹ്യം. ശ്രീരാമന് ഈ സ്ഥലം വളരെ ഇഷ്ടമായിരുന്നു. ശ്രീരാമന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലമായതിനാൽ ഈ പ്രദേശം രാമപുരം എന്നറിയപ്പെട്ടു എന്നാണ് ഐതിഹ്യം. കുചേലവൃത്തം വഞ്ചിപ്പാട്ട് രചിച്ച രാമപുരത്തു വാര്യരാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ കഴകക്കാരൻ. വാഹനം ക്ഷേത്രസന്നിധിയിലെത്തും. ഒരു വലിയ മനുഷ്യനും ഒരു വലിയ അൾത്താരയും ഉണ്ട്. ശ്രീരാമനാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം സമർപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. കിഴക്കോട്ട് ദർശനം. ചതുർബാഹു രൂപത്തിലേക്ക് സുസ്മേര രൂപം. ഈ രൂപത്തെ ആരാധിക്കുന്നവർക്ക് മനസ്സമാധാനത്തിനും കുടുംബാരോഗ്യത്തിനും വഴിയൊരുക്കുന്നു ശ്രീകോവിലിന്റെ തെക്കുഭാഗത്ത് ശിവപാർവ്വതി, ധർമ്മശാസ്താവ്, ഗണപതി എന്നീ ദേവതകൾ തെക്കോട്ടു ദർശനമായി നിൽക്കുന്നു. ശ്രീകോവിലിന്റെ വടക്കുഭാഗത്ത് ലക്ഷ്മീ ഭഗവതിയുടെ ആസ്ഥാനമുണ്ട്. ചുറ്റളവിന് പുറത്ത്, വടക്ക് കിഴക്ക് മൂലയിലെ പ്രധാന വിഗ്രഹത്തിന് പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ട് ദർശനമായി ഹനുമാൻ ദർശനമാണ് - രാമപുരം, കവിയൂർ, തൊടുപുഴ എന്നിവയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം സമാനമായ ഹനുമാൻ പ്രതിഷ്ഠയുള്ള കേരളത്തിലെ മൂന്ന് സ്ഥലങ്ങൾ. ഇതും ഒരു സവിശേഷതയാണ്.
യക്ഷിയും രക്ഷയും ആൽച്ചുവട്ടിൽ പാതയോരത്ത് താമസമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ചുറ്റുമതിലിനു പുറത്ത് ഭദ്രകാളിയുടെയും മഹാഗണപതിയുടെയും, സർപ്പവിഗ്രഹവും സരസ്വതിയുടെ സാന്നിധ്യവുമാണ്. പൂജാമുറിയിൽ ശ്രീരാമന് അഭിമുഖമായി ഗരുഡന്റെ വിഗ്രഹമുണ്ട്. രാവിലെ 5 മുതൽ 10 വരെയും വൈകുന്നേരം 5 മുതൽ 8 വരെയും ആണ് സന്ദർശന സമയം.
കുരപ്പക്കാട് ഇല്ലത്ത് താന്ത്രികാവകാശം. വിഷ്ണുപൂജ, കൂട്ടപ്പം, പാൽപായസം, തുളസിമാല, നെയ് വിളക്ക്, അരുണാഴിപായസം തുടങ്ങിയ വഴിപാടുകളുണ്ട്. അതിനായി ഇവിടെ നടത്തുന്ന കോദണ്ഡപൂജ മറ്റൊരിടത്തും ഉണ്ടെന്നറിയില്ല. എല്ലാ മലയാളമാസത്തിലെയും ആദ്യദിവസം പ്രത്യേകമാണ്. മകരസംക്രാന്തിക്ക് ആലങ്ങാട്ട് യോഗിമാർ പാനകപൂജയും കളഭാഭിഷേകവും നടത്തുന്നു.
മീനമാസത്തിൽ എട്ട് ദിവസമാണ് ഉത്സവം. തിരുവോണത്തിന് ആറാട്ട്. കഥകളിക്ക് ഏറെ പ്രാധാന്യം നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇത് കുട്ടികളുടെ ക്ഷേമത്തിന് നല്ലതാണെന്നാണ് ഭക്തരുടെ വിശ്വാസം. ഭക്തജനങ്ങളാണ് ഉത്സവബലി നടത്തുന്നത്. 2022 വരെ ഇത് ബുക്ക് ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.
അമനകര ഭരതസ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലാണ് ആറാട്ട്. തുടർന്ന് ഗജവീരൻമാരുടെയും താലപ്പൊലിയുടെയും അകമ്പടിയോടെ പള്ളിപ്പുറം ശിവക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ വാദ്യഘോഷങ്ങളോടെ ശ്രീരാമസ്വാമി രാമപുരം ക്ഷേത്രസന്നിധിയിൽ ആൽച്ചുവടിലെത്തും. ഏകദേശം 3 മണിക്കൂറോളം അവിടെ നിന്നശേഷം ക്ഷേത്രാചാരപ്രകാരം അഞ്ച് മേളങ്ങൾ പാടി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കും.
